Co-Host Requirements

To serve as a Co-Host, you must meet the following criteria:

(Roles include Chatter, Timer, and Document Person)

Basic Requirements

Must use a computer or laptop (No phones, tablets, or Chromebooks)
Have at least 90 days of continuous sobriety
Be actively working the 12 Steps with a sponsor, therapist, or clergy member
Commit to 3 months of service
Serve minimum of 2 days per week for entire 3 month commitment (you choose the days)

Service Expectations

Attend a training session within this group during first two weeks after signing up
Be open to coaching outside of training sessions to improve your skills every month
Willingness to grow and eventually transition into another service role - you can’t only do one or two roles

Ongoing Participation

Must attend the monthly Group Conscience meeting
Must download and use Telegram to sign up and communicate for service

Chair Requirements

To serve as a Chair, you must meet the following criteria:

Must use a computer or laptop (No phones, tablets, or Chromebooks)
Have at least 90 days of continuous sobriety
Be actively working the 12 Steps with a sponsor, therapist, or clergy member
Commit to 3 months of service

Service Expectations

Attend a training session within this group during first two weeks after signing up
Be open to coaching outside of training sessions to improve your skills every month
Outside of your chairing commitment each week, also be willing to help fill in for cohost positions when needed/available

Ongoing Participation

Must attend the monthly Group Conscience meeting
Must download and use Telegram to request your cohost service positions needed for the day you chair

Additional Requirements

Must have successfully completed Chatter, Timer, and Document Person five (5) times each as a Co-Host first
Commit to 3 months of service as Chair

To serve on the Steering Committee, you must meet the following criteria:

Steering Committee Overview

Purpose & Responsibilities

The Steering Committee helps maintain safety and structure during meetings.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing security for the room.
- Addressing concerns raised via yellow safety cards.
- Ensuring that all motions align with AA traditions.

Requirements to Join

To be eligible for a position on the Steering Committee, a member must:

Have one year of continuous sobriety.
Be actively working the 12 Steps with a sponsor or clergy member.
Have completed six months of service within the group (e.g., as co-host AND chair).
Apply when there is an open position available.

Structure & Terms

The Steering Committee is composed of five members, each serving a two-year term.
